New Call Center of Telekom Austria AG is located in the office and offers exceptional working environment.
Design and Inspiration
Was rebuilt from the original office space with an area of 1800 m2
and have first class facilities for its approximately 280 employees. The proposal draws inspiration from the basic urban structure.
Addressing the area of call center combines an interesting manner,
the three functionally distinct zones that share common space here and
experience it. Each of these zones has its specific focus, which is also reflected in the proposal. Zones are named "Central Park", "Boulevard / Road" and "Apartment / Studio".
The middle zone, the so-called "Central Park" serves as a municipal
park in the center of a densely populated metropolis. It is a place
where everyone can relax and gain strength. Series desks then their
arrangement reminds boulevard and individual business unit called
"Studio" ensure privacy and space for focused work.
The decision, motivation and performance
The aim was to create a new type of call center and take up the
hitherto neglected work on the proposal to raise the building to the
next level and evaluate it for both owners and users of the building. With the space with an area of 6.5 m2 per employee (!), Created BEHF thrilling surround sound with optimum results.
Work tables have been designed specifically for this purpose so that
the space-saving and also adapted to the needs of employees working.
Another design principle was to transfer the necessary functional
requirements (such as a complex sound system) to design full of emotion.
Examples of this are walls that are not only decorated with the motif
printed green park, but also serves as the most important acoustic
dampers and the building needed to achieve the specified reverberation
time according to official regulations.
Materials and principles of innovation
Interior furnishings were custom made in Austria, which is consistent with the environmental qualities of this project.
It is also an important aspect in terms of appreciation of the building
for all stakeholders - employees, A1 Telekom and the environment. This assessment was also to design from the very beginning of this extraordinary building.
Deciding that preference will be given before reconstruction of the
original building new construction, was the site environmental and
economic sense. The proposal is fundamentally ecological, and this is reflected in the use of renewable materials and robust finishes.
Socio-cultural and functional quality can be re-discovered in the
premises and other facilities that offer something more than just the
newly created workspaces for employees.
Artistically sophisticated solution is not subject to any short-term
fashion trends that will soon become unusable, and adds the
functionality of the project and the human dimension and is part of the
overall concept of sustainability.
